About Kentucky AAU Karate
We are a nonprofit group promoting the great physical,
social, and emotional benefits of traditional karate among the
athletes of Kentucky. We are a collection of schools, dojos,
and clubs across the state that respectfully work together to
honor this art with events like a state championship once a
year. Martial Artists from across Kentucky and surrounding
states compete in the three major aspects of karate: Kata,
Weapons, and Kumite (point sparring).
We also host various world class Masters, Shihans, Senseis
from around the world who come to our area to pass on their
knowledge to our students.
